One of mine is that I remind myself that sometimes things going 'wrong' is actually a blessing in disguise (see the chinese story about the old man who lost his horse) - so i chalk it up to fate!
I'm going to have to remember #7 because obnoxiousness goes down on a weekly basis--from a coworker that lives in another state, no less--at my Corp Hell Job. 🙄
With #9 (not wanting to work out) my rule with myself is to just go for 15 minutes, if I want to leave after 15 minutes then I can but usually by then I'm starting to feel good about it and want to keep going! I have left after 15 minutes before and those are when I just am really not in it or feeling good which is totally fine – gotta listen to my body!
If I’m running late because the subway is delayed/stalled/moving extra slowly, and there is no alternate route I can take, I remind myself that there is literally nothing I can do to change what’s happening in the moment and getting frustrated doesn’t help the outcome.
So many of these are super helpful, bookmarking for future reference!
Wow the one on insecurity and my 16-year-old self made me cry! What a sweet reminder!
Great list! I especially love the “good, I was using it!” thought when something gets stained or broken.

i love the phrase, “if it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no” if i’m weighing a decision. when my husband proposed i even said “hell yes” haha
This is so helpful😊
