So glad to see recognition of the environmental costs of AI. It's honestly one of my biggest gripes when people use it "just because" - it's become too easy! Also the ethical considerations - what data is/was used to train AI? Who benefitted? Who was wronged?

i’m glad to see this too but i’m also curious if they’re going to stop using and promoting it?

I have such mixed feelings about kids clothing!! I would love them to wear cute stuff all the time but I also know how much joy the Lightning McQueen t-shirt and cheesy Elsa nightgown (worn as a dress, ofc) brings them. As adults (and even starting in the tweens) we learn to confine our wardrobe to what we think it acceptable to our peers and societal expectations...I sort of just want them to love what their little selves love for now, tattered character garb and all.

I also just finished a SATC rewatch and I'm thinking about embarking on a Dawson's Creek rewatch?! I feel like it would stir so much teenage nostalgia, perfect for summer!

Ahhh Dawson’s Creek! 😭 Such a good idea.

I love everything you said here about children’s clothes and individual expression. For me, it’s also important to try (to the extent possible) not to reinforce gender stereotypes — both with colors, but also characters (dinosaurs vs bunnies, etc etc). It makes me so happy that my son often chooses pink or purple because he LIKES it. Gosh, so much to say here let’s write a whole essay on that!

Slowly re-watching How I Met Your Mother as our "nightcap" show (if we watch something more intense earlier then we watch something short and light before we fall asleep)

Now that I'm older I think a lot of the jokes went over my head the first time!

I've been rewatching Ink Master. I don't know why it's my go to comfort show. Something about seeing people being creative.

The Skims everyday bra is my go-to bra. I bought them back in 2020 as my "lazy" bra to wear at home and now I live in them. The best dang bras.

Ooh I’ve been needing a new “bra” that fits this description and I think I’m sold!

haha yes i call them my lazy bra. Perfect amount of support for sitting at home, or running out for a quick errand, not a sports bra, not a real bra. Everyone needs a reliable lazy bra.

The Amanda Seifred interview was too real; when she said “I knew how I wanted to sing.” I love how in touch she is with herself and her ambition. What a good lesson in humility, etc.
