I have a running list of my favorite chocolate chip cookies from bakeries in nyc. All that it is based on is how I personally feel about their cookies. I currently have 8 ranked plus 5 more on my list to try. I take my work very seriously.
My friends and I are planning one of these with Pad Thai in Nashville. Just pad thai though. And then we'll move on to sparkly waters, chocolate chip cookies, etc. I like the idea of picking one item! So fun
I vote one item, and second the suggestion of each bakeries best! Then you can have the chance to say ‘this is the best of the best’ if you’re introducing someone to the place. Also, you can settle knowing that you have the knowledge of Bostons best bakery item, which is like, everyone’s goal in life- right?
I did a bike tour d’bakeries in Camberville last summer and decided to compare chocolate croissants, which I regretted when a few spots didn’t sell them or were sold out. If (when) I do this again, I’d compare each bakery’s specialty! Feels more fair to compare everyone’s best

Re the ballet recital - I feel very lucky to have found dance classes in my new city where it’s all about fun and working as hard as we want to. They’re some of my favourite hours of the week!
