re those jeans--the 90s straight leg gave me flashbacks to being 15 in the worst way, but the curvy are great, and I'm wearing mine right now! (just in case anyone is looking for jeans and needs a nudge--I ordered like 10 pairs of jeans this fall and ended up with 2 I liked, which felt like a great outcome, actually!)

It feels like I could've written this entire comment...I had the exact same thought process + experience, start to finish. 😂 Love the curvy fit!

Came here to second the recommendation of Anne's Dunkin' piece (riveting! hilarious!)—and to mention that you and I just bought the exact same jeans, Aja, which makes me feel quite validated in my shopping choices.

And then I was beyond touched and surprised to find my essay here, too. Thank you, friends! 🥹

Wow, I love that Dunkin' post! As someone who grew up in New England and went to college in Boston I feel like I have always had Dunkin' loyalty and I always find it fascinating when people hate it so much. Hearing people sing it's praises in that post was heartwarming!
