In the early days of the Bachelor, I would throw a party and invite exactly 25 people. Everyone would pick s bachelorette and you received a rose if your selected person got a rose. And everyone put in $5! Winner take all! Anyway, the point is that I had 25 people that didn't know each other, so I made name tags and you had to write your name with your teenage celebrity crush. It was hilarious. One of my older neighbors had "David Cassidy." I'll never forget that one.

“What’s your favorite subreddit” would reveal so much to me!! Mostly that if you don’t know what I’m saying, then we have a problem 😂😉

fun party idea! another way of doing this is to write something interesting/provocative/intriguing about the person on their nametag. this was a staple of parties I went to in my 20s back home in Australia!

Love this!! definitely saving for a get together as I have a few separate friend groups and this would be perfect to get everyone talking. Another one that was great and kept the convo flowing was when I was at a dinner party for someone who also had different friend groups. We went around saying our Highs and Lows of the week (peak and pit, we chose fruit so it was lemon and orange i think? haha or whatever fruits you like and dislike!). It was so good to get everyone chatting and listening and also fostered more deep and meaningful conversations when you were able to ask them to elaborate on theirs or vice versa. loved it!

Ohh, that's perfect for a dinner party! I think the key is: Get people comfortable being vulnerable. That's where the magic happens!

I would 100% do this. What a great list of ideas. This reminds me of the type of cool, grownup parties I saw my mom throwing when I was younger that I still feel like I haven’t quite thrown as an adult. Thanks for sharing!
