Thankful for this community! This subscription is the only thing I’m asking for Christmas. Thankful for the time I have left with my brother that was just diagnosed with a grade 4 glioma. Moving him across country to care for him. Thankful I am able bodied to do so. Thankful my little family supports that. ❤️
I am very thankful for family this year but especially my mum. She was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and has been so strong and kept her spirits high. We lost our dad/husband in 2021 and have grown closer ever since. Losing one parent was very hard so the concept of losing another has been especially hard. She reminds me that moments with the people we love are numbered and unpredictable so make them count in anyway we can. Hoping others have a wonderful thanksgiving being with people they love.
I’m thankful for you guys being real, it’s not about do I have the same opinions, it’s about being open to different feelings on topics. Those are what really open my mind to thoughts and views I wasn’t aware of before, helping me be a better friend, wife, daughter, etc.
I’m so thankful for my five nieces and nephews who brought comfort and laughter during a hard year of infertility, job loss, and parent health scares. They made me laugh a lot this year, but gotta shout-out my eight-year fashionista niece who just asked me, “If I knew her when she was a baby with bad style.” 😂😂
Thank you for sharing, Rachael. I can empathize with so, so much here, and wish we could just give each other a hug! Your niece sounds incredible -- and sounds like she's very lucky to have you too.
I'm thankful for everyday access to clean drinking tap water! And to my sister who first gifted me a sodastream many years ago because at-home sparkling water is such a delightful small luxury!
thankful for a lot this year 🫶🏼 namely my community of family and friends near and far and being able to spend so much quality time with them over this past year, my health and access to healthcare while I’ve been on a fertility and pregnancy journey this year, and the voices of women like yall and others that inspire me especially as I try to energize for 2025
Oh I love this idea for a giveaway. Feeling especially grateful for my little household - my fiancée, my pup, and two hilarious cats who are always up to some antics.
I'm thankful for taking time this year to be more thoughtful about the things that I buy / physically consume! It's really changed my relationship to *stuff* and I feel like this newsletter gives very thoughtful suggestions.

Thankful for people on the internet with sense left. Thanks for building a community like that!
Aww, thanks Amy. We appreciate the note.
Thankful it’s an “on” year for my avocado tree, and that she offers so many that we have more than enough to share with our neighbors and parents.
I lived underneath an avocado tree in San Diego it was the BEST!!!
If I ever move back to CA this is going on the "nice-to-have" list haha
This sounds so magical!!
What a gift!! Avocado toast for months!
I’m thankful for therapy & for mental health discussions being normalized. The feeling of coming out of a rut is freeing and lovely
More of this!!
YES. Couldn't agree more, Liz!
I’m thankful I went on antidepressants for the first time this year. I was so scared to do it, but it’s been a tremendous help!
Antidepressants are the BEST (speaking from experience, ha.)

Ooof, that does sound like a tough year! And omg amazing quote. Is she indirectly shading her parents... who were dressing her? 😂
Yes! Super funny. Directly brought some sunshine to us with her many sartorial opinions.

What a fantastic gift! Taking note!
I’m thankful for my wife, and making time for creative projects, and vacation plans to look forward to!
Love this one!
Thankful for the understanding, thank you therapy, that "both things can be true." A gamechanger for me in making sense of my brain and the world.
This is huge!!! Thank you, Kate.
Yes. Such an important reminder, especially this year.

Thanks so much for sharing, Jill - it is definitely not easy going through these things, but sounds like you have an incredible community!

One of my friends once described their cats as "Nature TV" lol. Your little household sounds warm and lovely!
Thankful for my health, family and friends ❤️
I love the way you’ve done this post! I’m thankful for my partner and our incoming baby, due in April🤰💕
A spring baby!! I'm so excited for you & Christian.

Aw, thank you Gretchen! We really try — so this note means a lot. And congrats on shifting your relationship to consumption; that's no easy feat.
This means so much, thank you!
