This month marks two years of Platonic Love. We’ve published more than fifty essays, dozens of interviews, and hundreds of weekly recommendations… all inspired by our mission of making modern adulthood less lonely and giving friendship the spotlight it deserves.

At first, we weren’t sure if this partnership would stick. Putting out a twice weekly newsletter is a lot of work! But after our first fight a few months in (over communication, of course), we figured out¹ how to hold each other accountable without sacrificing our friendship, mental health, and/or the rest of our lives.

And we love Platonic Love. We love reading your comments on an article that resonated with you, meeting other writers through the platform, and learning more about ourselves through writing.

Since neither of us do social media these days, these beautiful photos from our January retreat in San Juan really do deserve more attention.
