Always love hearing Olivia's perspective! Especially early motherhood being a portal and planting creative seeds for future growth, I feel that so much right now.
Loved this!! And that purple dress is perfect 💜thanks for sharing! Totally fine if you don’t want to share, but what suburb do you live in? I’m a Brooklynite exploring a potential move myself when my husband and I start a family, but tbh I am kind of turned off by the idea of suburban life, but sounds like you love where you are!!
No way! I'm a Platonic Love reader and I grew up in Maplewood. It has its flaws, and has changed a lot over the years, but it was an amazing place to live. Like you said, the walkability can't be beat. Just wait until your kids get old enough to beg you to take the train into the city by themselves!
As a plus size gal growing up it was really hard to keep up with the trends because nothing was made in my size. Now, I can find so much more. But just recently in the past year and a half, my style has gone more from trying to stay with the trends and more about comfort. I traded my skinny jeans for wide leg, an oversized T (or sweatshirt) and my trusty Birkenstock clogs. It's all about comfort!

It's Maplewood, New Jersey. We came from Brooklyn too and I had an extremely hard time leaving! Happy to chat about it more. x

No way!! I felt like an alien from outer space when I first got to the suburbs but Maplewood truly won me over. I'm not ready for kids on the train!
Thank you for sharing !!! I might take you up on that soon ☺️☺️ I love that it sounds walkable!

I loved this post; a great mix of life musings and links to fun things. I also fell in love with a purple, throw on dress!
